Default fingerprinting for children

might sound like a dumb question...but when filing for AOS for my kids, based on
immediate relative (stepchildren) of my USC husband, do I need to include the
fingerprinting fee and get them fingerprinted? both are under the age of 10, and
though they would get a real kick out of being fingerprinted, I would love to save
the $50 each if it isn't required.

From the online .pdf copy of the INS I-485 form (retyped as I can't seem to copy and
paste from acrobat forms) TESTTEST-- Fingerprints If you are between the ages of 14
and 75, you must be fingerprinted. After filing this application, INS will notify you
in writing of the time and location where you must go to be fingerprinted. Failure to
appear to be fingerprinted may result in denial of your application. TESTTESTTEST

Hi there
We filed the aos for me and my 11 year old. Our Lawyer said that it is only me that needs to get fingerprinted as Wayne is not old enough.

Good luck
