Finanical Aid??

I want to go to school in the states in the fall and they want to know if I will qualify
for federal financial aid. I will be moving to Portland OR in May on a K1 and we are going
to be getting married on Aug 4. If anyone could help with this it would be greatly
appreciated.

Jeff, You are not eligile to apply for financil aid unless you are a citizen or posess a
green card. it will take 2-3 years after marriage to apply and if qualfied, it will be
available the following school year...Most likely some time between Sept 2004 and 2005

specific that you have not posted here. Launch a search engine and do a search on the
phrases you had used to post the query. Pell grant, student loan, financial aid are also
good phrases to use.
