Finally Green card Approved
Finally after talking to HR about sponsering my green card application 8 years ago I recived this email at 9:30 this morning
On August 17, 2010, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status.
I was in EB3 ROW catorgory
At last - no more visas, no more embassy visits, all the stress of not knowing what is going on gone.
Maybe I'll have a glass of champagn tonight.

Re: Finally Green card Approved
Hopefully your priority date will become current soon, I don't know if this helped my case but this is what I did when my priority date became current (1st Aug).
Waited until the 5th August and then phoned USICS and listened to all the messages and then pressed a number to actually speak to someone. I opened a service request as my case was outside the processing dates. Waited 10 days (Sunday 15th) and then I sent a letter to both the senetors for MA. Two days later I was approved.
It may be worth a try when you become current.
Hope this helps

To those recently current....
I have 2 family members with EB-3 applications that had great success by requesting a "Service Request" to the USCIS customer service phone line.
Some of these retrogressed cases are way out of their standard processing time, so you are able to file S.R. to check on the case, which generally results in somebody having to look at the file...which sometimes results in approval if nothing is holding it up....
