Files AOS1 months after I94 expired....

....do I have to pay the $1000 extra fee for Supplement A of the I-485?
Could it be that they raaaaaiiiiiiiiiised that fee?

No. Overstaying by one month does not mean you have to pay the $1,000 fee. You are not filing Supplement A.
