FBI Name Check Contact Info
Looks like many of us are in similar boat. Stuck and waiting but
nowhere to go and ask for help.
Does anyone know;
1. Contact information for FBI related to Name check?
2. Anyone that can be contacted to find out the progress on name check
from the FBI?
Went through the Congressman, Senators and the BCIS officers and all
have the same answer; we cannot/do not have any jurisdiction over this
new name check policy. We could have helped you in case of finger
print delays, but not NAME CHECK!!!
I am fine with it taking time as long as it is moving along. But I am
afraid, my file might be sitting on someone's desk, collecting dust.

I filed for I-485 last year in Aug. got work permit , finger printed and then went to green card interview. the civil surgeon forgot to sign the medical form 
since it was in closed envelope i didnt knew anything. and when i went to interview they told me i have to get it done and that when i will send it back they will then mail me the letter to get LPR stamp in my passport. I got medical exam form completed send it to them and now its been more then a year never heard from them , i ask them whats going on and all they told me was "FBI IS CHECKING SOMETHING" and i am still waiting.

Good grief, I am sorry to hear that.
Perhaps, they have come up with a generic answer.
may be they lost it.

Does anybody where to get the forms and which FBI office to submit to find out under freedom of information act if the name check has been completed and what was sent to BCIS?
I was told that if we call the FBI phone number they will give an officer's name who will give details. I heard they are very professional and they return the calls promptly.
But prefer getting the results submitting the form under freedom of information act so it can be shown to the BCIS.
