F-1 to AOS: How/When to tell the University
Some questions regarding F-1 to Marriage Based AOS adjustment:
1. How soon after being approved for Conditional Permanent Resident should a graduate student receiving Research/Teaching Assistantship (and therefore tution waiver) inform the university that his visa status has changed ?
2. What will the student (who is in his final semester and months away from graduation) and the university actually need to do to formally process the change in his status at the university?
3. Will the change in status be frowned upon by the university in any way or jeopardize receiving the RA/TA/tuition waiver ?

2- Don't need to do anything...
3 would depend on the uni, probably best ask them, but as an LPR your allowed to study and probably in a better situation...

Feel free to substitute the words "you" and "your" with the name of the actual person.
