Default expired J-1 USA Visa?! CWOP-What's that?

hey there...I m David.got lucky today after spending hours on the internet sites searching for any answer about my questions, and here I am on this site, hope so somebody who knows those things better is going to spend few mins. by answering and helping me a lot on the same time.!
2 years ago,as a student I applied for J-1 USA Visa, and i was lucky, but i needed to stay in US just for 4-5 months but I stayed over there for almost 2 years, and after that i decided to move back in Europe, but before I fly they interviewed me and they also did write CWOP on my passport?!
_What does that mean ?
I moved back in Europe (Macedonia) 6 months ago,but I miss USA and my friends so i m thinking to apply again for the same visa next year and go over there for work&travel and visit my friends on the same time,IS THAT POSSIBLE?
Do i have any chance to get another visa on 2011,or they are not going to allow me to go in the USA again,by staying longer than needed (like 18 months longer)does that mean that i "burned" all my chances for getting another visa for USA.
_Please,somebody who knows about this stuff,or used to have same experience like mines, let u help me on this way by giving any advice to me or telling ur experiences on this way,I really appreciate that, cause i m getting bored hearing somebody who doesn't know sh.. telling me that I "burned" all my chances for another visa or another visit to USA.
_If YOU think that YOU know about this things,do not hesitate to write me,please,I really appreciate that.
Thanks for understanding,David...

Was the visa only valid 4-5 months or was it valid longer and you only needed to be there 4-5 months? When did your visa actually expire and how long after that date were you in the US? Who is "they" that interviewed you before flying back to Europe? It's very possible that you shot yourself in the foot and will have a tough time trying to get back to the US or it may be that you just misunderstood your visa and it isn't quite as bad as you think but you have to give a lot more detailed info. You may also want to talk to an experienced immigration lawyer who knows about this sort of stuff, they may be able to help you should the worst case scenario be in place, ie a multi year ban from entering the US.

CWOP - Canceled without prejudice. I had a J-1 visa canceled with such a stamp but that was because it was replaced with a different J-1 visa.

I've never seen any immigration officer at the gate, or even at any point leaving the US. TSA, airport staff and airline staff yes, immigration, no. Do you know for sure that whoever wrote on your visa actually had the authority to do so? Seems a little weird, but I don't know for sure.

Don't you have any more precise information than this? Visas aren't valid for "4-5 months" they have a finite expiration date.
Further, the I-94 card you received at the border had another date, also very important. Did you save a copy of that? Are there any other stamps on your passport?

Do you think you used your last visa correctly? Do you think that if you did not, you should be able to get another visa?

You need to talk to a lawyer who knows something about "J" visas and admissions.

I can't add an answer to your question sorry. I just wanted to add that the border patrol people also wrote cwop on my multiple musit visa that expired in 2008. My previous posts will shed light on the trouble I had.

After the 2008 visa expired I can add that I was granted a visa to visit my girlfriend, and have just returned. It was on this visit that the border patrol wrote cwop on my 2008 visa.
