Experience: Social Security Update after AOS

I saw some contradicting posts about receiving a new Social Security card (without
restrictions) after AOS, so here is my experience:
Three days after the successful AOS interview in Detroit, I went to the Social
Security office to update their records. The lady there was very nice, wanted to see
different forms of ID (passport, ID, old SSN card) and of course the I-551 stamp.
She said that it's important to keep Social Security updated about your status and
that I'll receive a new Social Security card with no restrictions (no more VALID FOR
WORK ONLY WITH INS AUTHORIZATION) within two weeks. I asked whether I'd have to
notify them again after the conditions on the residency were removed, but she said
no. The only thing they'd want to know after this is when you become a citizen.
