ESTA for returning trip
I completed and travelled under the VWP (or ESTA) a few months ago to New York. I'll be returning again in a few months.
Do I need to complete another ESTA application? I remember reading somewhere that it was valid for entry up to 2 years, but in my passport, I had a 3 month stamp, and also remember giving my travel dates when completing the application.
Thanks.

Re: ESTA for returning trip
ESTA approval is valid for 2 years unless your circumstances change, such as getting a new passport, overstaying a VWP trip, or getting arrested for a CIMT.

I've never had to use it but I believe that while the authorization lasts 2 years, you can log back in to your ESTA and provide updated travel information.

Two different things. The 90-day (not 3-month) stamp in your passport meant that you were given permission to stay in the USA for 90 days following your entry, the maximum length of stay allowed by the VWP.
