Esta Authorization Pending?
Hi guys
I just wondered if you could help. I've finally convinced my parents to come out and visit us in October, it took a lot of persuading as they've never been on a plane before!
So I filled out the Esta form for them (they're both computer illiterate too ) and I did my mum first and it was authorized immediately but when I did my dad's it said authorization pending??????
I answered all the same information as my mum's form and ticked no for everything so why would this be?
It just says to check back within 72 hours....
Thanks in advance.

Because they are two different individuals, with different histories. I assume that when you say you entered "all the same information" you used different names/DoBs/passport details, etc.
Oh crap, that's obviously where I went wrong...
You have three guesses to figure out what you should do (and the first two don't count...)

I am just so nervous for them, I want everything to run as smoothly as possible!

Oooh, and I need to learn how to use the 'quote' button while I'm at it!
