Entry stamp for Canadians
I recently cleared US immigration at Toronto person airport using my Canadian
passport for a personal trip to US. While I was entering, the female immigration
officer asked me how long I was going to remain in US, I replied one week. She then
Stamped my Canadian passport and wrote my destination city and valid for one week
next to the entry date stamp.
I have crossed the US border at least a dozen of times within the last couple of
years both on business and for personal reasons and my Canadian passport was never
stamped. They usually just scan it and wave me through.
Anybody else experience this, lately? has anything changed recently? They give me a
really tight deadline to leave, not that it is a problem for me. Just wondering.
Thanks

Re: Entry stamp for Canadians
I have always had my passport stamped, but they always left the return date blank, so it just showed my entry into the US date.
