Employment-based GC avg = 4.2 yrs
I've updated my spreadsheet of processing times to include INS forms I-140
and I-485. The revised spreadsheet can be viewed here:

It now shows the total processing times for each of the 50 states. Scroll to
the bottom for a chart showing all the states. The average processing time
is 4.2 years from the time you begin your labor certification until your
I-485 is processed. The shortest processing time is 2 years, in Iowa, and
the maximum is ~7 years, in TX, MN, LA, OK and NY.
These are some damn long waiting times!
