Embassy interview "layout"
I've just read Mr Ruffin's post about his K1 interview experience, and I
was just wondering about the interview booths in the various embassies. The
one in London essentially has an open format, like a desk with you on one
side and them on the other; however in Sydney, evidently, and in Bern when
I was there 2 years ago, it seems that the booths are glassed off. Does
anyone happen to know which of these is the norm? Or is it arbitrary?

Don't know about the "norm" (if there is one). My guess is that it
depends largely on when the building was built, how much money they had
and the ideas of the "embassy designers" at the time.
