Default Easy Question on Date of Arrival in I-485??

I am hoping this is an easy question.

On the INS forms they are looking for the date of last arrival. I am
currently here on a L2 visa from Canada and able to have multiple
entries in and out of the country and want to confirm that the date of
last arrival is when I last entered the country (including vacation)
and not when I originally moved here.

I called the UCIS office and they are not able to answer that question.

Can anyone else????

It's asking for the date of your last arrival in the USA - when you
last crossed over a border and went from not being in the USA to being
in the USA.
