So today I received the comby card ---only a week or so after my second set of fingerprints were taken

Sigh of relief as I can book a trip to UK to see my mum now!! ---hmm and come back and find a job. The party's over....

Can you tell me how long it took from when you got the email notifications that the production of your EAD/AP cards were ordered, until you received them in the post?

I got the email notification yesterday, so I'm curious!

hi I never got an email notification - just the cards! I had my biometrics (had to have them done twice cos my fingerprints didnt come out good first time) on a wednesday and got the card in the post a week on the sat so approx 10 days - good luck!

Ken, if yours is anything like mine, you'll get three emails - one saying card production ordered (June 21st, the start validity on the card itself), another on June 24th saying exactly the same thing (though that's the date on the letter, so I presume it means card actually produced that day), and finally one on June 29th saying Post Decision Activity, which said they'd mailed a notice on June 27th. I got the card on June 30th.

Hi Ken, I haven't got to that stage yet, I'm still waiting for the initial receipt for the whole AOS package.

By the way, in My Portfolio on the USCIS homepage, once I got the "receipt notification mailed" status updates, nothing else ever updated for my I130 or I131 forms. Maybe if you get an RFE on one of those it will update further, but even now I have my ARC there's been no change on those two since April.

Ah, ok. Thats what you meant by it "went in the post last week". Thought you meant the card!

FWIW -- having the advance parole ["AP"] document does not mean that one should use it or that there may be adverse consequences to its use.

An attorney whom I have the utmost respect for objects to the way that members of the bar treat AP like its candy. When AP blows up on ones face, it tends to blow up quite badly.
