Default EAD About to Expire

I filed for my new EAD in September 2003.

Recieved a reciept dated Sept. 19th.

I am due to start a new job on the 17th of November and have not heard anymore from the Charleston, SC office (where I filed).

My current EAD expires on November. 13th. I am awaiting my I-485, through marriage to a US Citizen.

What should I do? I am scared and confused.

You cannot work without valid EAD

---I think you can go for Interim EAD to local BCIS office if filed 90 days back

All USCIS offices have expedite procedures for urgent situations. You coul
try to get your EAD faster than usual processing time by following the
expedite procedure. It is not easy to find out how to do it. You could try
calling your Congressperson (local office), or hiring a good immigration
attorney to get this done, based on the new employer's need for your
services.
