Default E3 Visa

Hi,
I am in the process of applying for my e3 Visa from Sydney. I have my parents who live with me and depend on me for a living being senior citizens. I cannot leave them and move to the US. The only option I see is to apply for a long term B1/B2 Visa so my parents can live with me for sometime in the US. How do I approach this? Could someone shed some light so I can get my parents over to the USA on a long term visa.

without a doubt! I owe my life to my folks. They have done more than I can do to my kids. So is there a way I can apply for a long term visitors Visa like a B1/B2. At least they can stay for 6 months every year! I have no issues to even pay a bond to the US government to make sure they do not incur any medical costs. I am not sure if this can be done. But I am looking for something that could help me in this.

I think the biggest issue will be showing how you would pay for them if they did sick....medical insurance at their age would probably run into the K's a month a pop, and if they need any prescriptions, it won't be cheap.

But on the other hand, retired folks have a better chance of a B1/2 than most.

Just a question on why you would apply to do this if you were looking
after your parents? This should've maybe have been thought about before
you actually applied?
