So I have got my contract in place and the terms are mostly in line with my expectations / needs so it is full steam ahead for my Visa application!!

I have begun filling in the DS160 online today and will be filling in the details across the course of this week, and will simultaneously book my interview and submit the application at the start of next week.

I will update this thread with the process and waiting times etc as it progresses.

So far so good...we can't believe we will be in California in January!!! Just need to sell/give away/ dump loads of our stuff, shift the car..........get married
