DV2005 Photo's
Hi,
I've a question about the photo for the DV-program. On the website of the
embassy is said that you have to print your name and date of birth on the
back of the photo. Now I'm wondering wether this has to be your full name
including possible middle names? And what's the best way of printing this on
the back of the photo? I guess writing it won't qualify but using an inkjet
printer can make a mess because the size of the photo is pretty small for a
clumsy printer. I hope someone has a suggestion here, because it's very hard
to get some info trough the official ways?
Thanks in advanced,
Ralph.

Re: DV2005 Photo's
They want you to put your name and date of birth on the back of the pictures
so that they can match them back up with your file in case they misplaced
them.
Sooo, your name + DOB should be enough to distinguish them from the other
pictures they might have dropped on the floor!
No need for a printer if you can write legibly

Re: DV2005 Photo's
This is basically just informational, in case the photo gets separated. I
wouldn't use a printer because it indeed can be quite messy. Best is
probably a #2 pencil (some ink can also smear on this type of paper).

Ingo's right. Use a pencil, because the machines that scan and/or
impress photos also tend to melt/smear the ink because of the heat involved.
Also: write your full name, including your middle name (if no middle
name, put "no middle name"). I also suggest writing your last (family)
name in CAPS.
