Default DV2005 Photo do not compute

Is there a way to scan a picture to specs and respect the file size?

The instruction virtually tell you how to do it just scan in a 2x2in pic its unlikely to exceed 62kb put it through you photo prog to improve the contrast, brightness etc

He wants to take a picture that doesn't meet the ADIT specs and turn it
into one that does, I am guessing.

So, he would scan it with a scanner, then use some type of image utility
to adjust the size. Then he would print it out on paper of a type that
would be accepted. For me, it would be easier simply to drive over to
the photo shop a few blocks from here.
