DV-2006 Winner - Question about Interview Scheduling Time
Hi everyone. I live in the U.S.; I have received the winning DV-2006
notification on May 9th, mailed completed forms to KCC on May 11th,
2005. It's been two weeks or so now. What's the approximate wait time
before KCC would notify me (provided all the stars align and so on) of
a scheduled interview appointment? Is it ever OK to e-mail KCC and ask
(nicely ;)) whether they have received the paperwork for processing? I
know they specifically tell you in the letter not to contact them to
check when the interview will be scheduled, would hate to tick them
off. USPS never lost any of my letters, but who knows... Any feedback
you could provide would be extremely helpful!

First off interviews only start on 1 October 2005 and if you have a low case number expect to hear towards the end of August - early September. They usually let you know a few weeks before the interview date, around 2-3 weeks.
Check last years visa bulletins to see when case numbers similar to yours became current and chances are your interview will be around the same month.
