I'm a Canadian who has been thinking of perusing opportunities in the US. I was convicted
of impaired driving many years ago and would like to find out what impact this will have
on my ability to obtain a visa. Any help is appreciated.

Unless it was considered a felony, it should not have an effect. For a felony, talk
to a lawer.
