Is it difficult to get visa to live and work in USA

Default Is it difficult to get visa to live and work in USA

how hard is it to get a visa and do they have points system like we do here in Australia. We migrated from the uk two and half years ago and the process then took nearly 3 years. Do they look at trades for migration purposes.

You should consider the E-3 as Australia boasts a unique provision for specialty occupations (akin to the H-1B, though far less regulated).

If you look back at the OP's previous posts, you'll see that he is a plumber.

With the greatest of respect to plumbers, I'm not sure that will count as a 'speciality occupation' somehow, or that he'll have a degree in it.

It is unlikely the OP is an Australian citizen and probably only an Australian PR. The E-3 is only available to Australian citizens.

Many many moons ago, because I am old, I remember Diesel Engine, mechanics were in great demand, as were British trained bus drivers.
