Denial under 221(g) Administrative procedure at Mumbai
My brother's visa application at MUMBAI is denied under 221(g) and is under 'Admistrative procedure' since November 2003.
Any experience regarding how long it takes for embaasy to call you back? What is there procedure for 'Checking' the things they want to confirm?
Thanks.

-------Bombay or Mumbai has US consulate US embassy is in New Delhi, your brother has to call them check the phone# on Mumbai US consulate site
What is there procedure for 'Checking' the things they want to confirm?
----- They check with DOS in Washington DC or with USCIS
Thanks.

I just read that GAO found in a study that on average, such cases took 67
days. Now this is an average, and it can actually go much faster, or take
much, much longer.
