My Cuban work mates hate the bastard. Almost all cubans apparently hate the life in Cuba - dont listen to any propoganda - they really, really think it sucks. Most of them would happily become a true democracy without a second thought. But they love Cuba after all it is their home country and wouldnt want to be a US state..

I read somewhere that Cuba has one of the best public healthcare systems in the world and that a black baby born in the USA is more likely to die than in Cuba.
If America does go in and take over it'll just be like Russia was after the fall of communism, still loads of poverty but now with a big McDonalds in the middle of Havana.

But six out of ten preganacies in Cuba are aborted. As confirmed by the Cuban Government's own numbers. Not only that, but abortions are paid for by the state, encouraged even... got to keep those figures up ...
