Crossing canadian border with Advanse Parole.
Hi everyone. I'm on H1B VISA right now and also applied for green card. So far i get
Advances Parole, which suppose to be a document for entering US. But INS website said
that Advance Parole does not guarantee entrance to US and leaves the decision for the
officer on the border. The question is: can i go with "AP" to Canada for my vacations
or there is a chance i will stuck there? thank you Tanya

You shouldn't have any problems re-entering the US with advanced parole paperwork.
That's the purpose of advanced parole. Make sure all your documentation is in order.

That's the purpose of advanced parole. Make sure all your documentation is in order.

My husband used his AP many times to go back and forth to Canada. He never had any

Why though, did you apply for advance parole? You can travel while maintaining H
status even if you have a green card petition in progress.

Why though, did you apply for advance parole? You can travel while maintaining H
status even if you have a green card petition in progress.
