Couple of quick questions

Hi Everyone
Robin and I will be filing our initial application with the NSC the first part of
next week (YIPPEE). But do have a couple of quick questions here.
When she is filling out the application (she is the USC) for the part that states
*previous spouses names* does she fill in the names that are on the divorce
certificate...or the spouses maiden name if applicable?
Also ..for putting in the request for a specific Consulate..would Vancouver, BC
Canada suffice or is there a proper name for the consulate that should put there?
And just thought of a third one too...I read that it asks for marriage certificates
as well as divorce certificates...do I need to have my marriage certificates as well?
or is that just for her because of the different name than on her birth certificate?
Thanks
Warren in Canada (and Robin in USA)

She would put her name, i.e. Patti Smith Jones and Ronald Jones.
Yes you need to have her send your divorce decree with the I-129F. If it now asks for the marriage certificates as well, then you include from both of you. (Thinking back to 1998 the marriage certificate for the foreign spouse was asked for as one of the US Consulate checklist items).
Also include in your divorce decree from Canada.
Yes putting US Consulate, Vancouver, BC, Canada is fine.
