In two hours' time I have my third interview with a prospective employer in Wellington, New Zealand. The job would pretty much be an absolutely perfect fit for me and tonight it's the technical and psychological screening. I've got some notes on what they're going to ask me, which is brill of them, and am working on that right now, but could really use some positive thoughts sent my way (Aurora, IL) at 6 pm central tonight.

Thanks Dan. Actually we already covered quite a lot of what will be done in this one, in the second interview. But pretty much because I didn't shut up when I should have done. I really need to calm down, but the glass of merlot will have to wait until afterwards.

They're testing me on their core competencies and I have to provide examples of where I've shown, in the last two years, that I would be able to conform to the standards they have set for themselves at the new organisation.

Hopefully I'm a shoe-in, but I'm not going to count my chickens, etc.

Well... unfortunately there was a calendaring mix-up and while I thought it was at 11 am on Tuesday (in NZ), the interviewer is booked for 11 am on Wednesday in NZ.

Oh well, these things happen.
