Cleveland and Naturalization (any updates?)
Hi Fellow Clevelanders,
Any more progress on the interview dates for people who are going through Cleveland BCIS. I know Steve (Lisa's husband) is still waiting for the interview. I just saw someone from Dallas getting interview notice after recpt date of Jan 8, 2003. That is only 8 days before Steve got his fingerprinting.
I even sent a letter to the congressman complaining the processing time in Cleveland. All Cleveland would say is that we should ask that question to the service center!! I thought it was funny as I think it is the local office that determines the pace.
Oh well! I guess I have vented for the day!

Lisa & Steve made an inquiry, take a look at:

They scanned the "official" reply. I am surprised that Cleveland office blames NSC - from the reply it seems that NSC is waiting for a slot to be available at Cleveland.
Go figure... Oh, don't go anywhere, just wait

Re: Cleveland and Naturalization (any updates?)
As you know Sundar we wrote Cleveland in June. A month later we received a
form letter with the box ticked telling us Steve's fingerprints had cleared
(if they hadn't by then as he had them done January 16, 2003 I'd have been
surprised) and that stated "When your local INS office has an interview date
available, your file will be transferred to the appropriate office and you
will be notified by mail of your interview appointment."
So Cleveland is taking forever to have an opening.......wow alot of you must
be having interviews out there keeping Cleveland so busy that we cannot get
in! (righhhhhhhttttttttttt)
