Clarification about online status page?
Hello,
Just to clarify...is the entire INS online status page unreliable, or just the time frames that are posted there? For example, if I wanted to check if the VSC received my RFE response, could I check there or is it likely the status will not be entirely accurate?

I'd hazard a guess and say it's just like everything at INS.......take everything with a pinch of salt! A lot of people's status info isn't updated, but mine was. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

I find the on-line status line to be fairly accurate as to the last action taken in your case. All of the other stuff is "boilerplate" including the time estimates.

Thank you Kate and Folinskyinla. My rfe response was mailed on Dec. 18, so hopefully it will get there soon. And hopefully there aren't delays with holiday mail too!
