Citzenship application.
I have been a permanent resident for 24 years and want to apply for citizenship. In 1975 I forgot to pay a speeding ticket and was picked up in a traffic stop and held in jail a couple of hours till it was paid. Will this jeopordise my application? That was Los Angeles and I now live in Wisconsin. I have two children both born in the USA. Thanks.....Mark.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as you were not convicted of any crime (the
speeding ticket itself should not be a problem). You will have to mention any
arrests, even if you were not convicted, and should also be able to document how the
case was resolved.

speeding ticket itself should not be a problem). You will have to mention any
