Children
I am almost ready for the Fiance Visa to be filed in the states by my Fiance, but my
ex-husband has suddenly announced my daughter would have a better life with me when I
go live in the U.S.
How much more paperwork needs to be done for this?
Thanks in advance

Re: Children
If your fiance is filing I-129F, he must enter the names of all your children in the
space allotted (irrespective of whether they are migrating with you or not). He
should enter your daughter by name on rhe cover letter, so that the consulate is
aware that they should send you an extra packet. Apart from that nothing needs to be
filed right now. You will be given the opportunity to do so, when you deal with the
consulate at your end. Hope this helps, Ranjini
