checks cashed yesterday
INS cashed my checks yesterday for my applications, does it mean that I am going to get a receipt soon or an appointment for fingerprints soon?

Being a little vague, aren't we? Checks being cashed means the INS has
your money. Nothing else.

Hnchoksi: Woke up in the wrong side of the bed?
Roussel: In all my apps. (H extensions, I-140, EAD, AP, I-585) I have
received receipt notice within a few days after my checks were paid by my
bank, I am 80 days into my EAD ap and should receive aproval soon, same date
for I-585 but they take a couple of years and have not received fingerprint
appointment, nor do I expect it so soon.

The INS cashed my cheques and never bothered to sent us a receipt. EAD is about to exceed the 90day wait for processing limit, so we'll see...
