Candian PR reentering US with Advance Parol
Hi,
I have an Advance Parol for my pending I-485. I am Canadian PR, but
never live in Canada. I am going to travel to Canada using the lading
paper (I landed 3 years ago). Would it be a problem when I reenter US,
because I am a Canadian PR? I heard US green card application is
conflict with Canadian PR.
The proposed travel destination in my Advance Parol application is my
home country. Would it be problem I travel to the country other than
the one I specified in the application?
Your advice is highly appriceited.
Ben

Re: Candian PR reentering US with Advance Parol
It is my understanding Canadian citizens are not restricted from
entering the US and are not restricted, only inspected to varify they
are not carrying anythig prohibited with them. There are literaly
millions of illegal canadians living in the U.S. and over 500.000
illegal canadiens in Florida alone. They are rarely deported even when
discovered unless some other illegal activity is envolved, but that can
be as simple as driving under the influence of alcohol. At any rate w/ a
conditional parole you should be aware that entry is governed by
boarder patrol and they do not always agree with the INS and are not
bound to recognise INS "Permissions".
May the Lord bless you and keep you safe, From Ranger-Dave Robinson.
