Hi to all I am a Canadian resident working from Canada as a private = contractor(self
employed) for a US company (working remotely from = Canada). I have to make
occasional trips to US to meet with the clients = and this last for 2-3 days only. I
am a Indian passport holder and do = not need visa to enter US and have worked in US
on H1B in the past.
My questions are what are the types of questions I should expect at the = border
crossing? Should I tell them that I am going to meet my clients or just say I am =
visiting US(I have my close relative in the same state as my clients) Do I need to
produce any other documents to support.I have a contract = letter from the US
company. I know lots of people must be doing this type of work. So I want to know =
how do they deal with this situation. I just do not want immigration = officer to
feel that I am going for a employment purpose(to work = illegally in US). Any
suggestions are welcome.
Thanks
Canadian
