Canadian Police Report - without fingerprints

I've read plenty of old messages about people using the regular RCMP
check without fingerprints successfully to immigrate to America. Has
anyone been successful with this lately? Thank You.

I just used the local Police report (which covered all of Canada
anyway). That was about 6 years ago and I think it was about $15.
