Can you file I751 in person?
Hi:
I'm wondering if I should file I751 in person next Friday at the SF service
center rather than mail it, since I will complete the preparation only a
couple days prior.
Thanks for comments.

It doesn't go to your local office. It goes to Laguna Niguel (Calif
Service Center)
The info is in the directions.

The I-751 is ONLY filed at the service center having jurisdiction over your
state...I.E. Laguna Niguel. Get in to them in the proper time. Send it
overnight if need be.

Don't waste time, get it done and in the mail!!!
Good luck.

By mail only to the relevant service center. If SF is the office, send it to Laguna Niguel.
BTW, the actually filing need only be the completed and signed I-751 and the [for now] $105 filing fee. Even if you submit it without supporting documents, the INS must take it.

But does this mean they will accept it in the sense of granting the 1 year
extension to the green card?
Thanks for input.
