After I become a US citizen, is it possible for me to bring my parents
from Greece here and sponsor them for a green card? Anyone have any
ideas on how long the processing time is for something like that?

You can sponsor them for a green card and bring them here. Bringing them here and sponsoring them for a green card is something else.

I filed my petition for immediate relative at the USCIS desk in Athens (in the Consulate) in 2002. Total time from petition to immigrant visa for my spouse was only 33 days back then.. I am pretty certain that you can still petition this way, saving a lot of time.

Look at the Consulate's webpage for information on Immigrant Visas. When your parents use an IV to come into the US, they become Permanent Residents right away, and they get their Green Cards in the mail. Filing through the Consulate is the most simple and fastest way to get their Green Cards, in my opinion.

If the paperwork is all OK, how soon would my parents get their green
card? is it a matter of weeks, months, years? thanks all!!!
