Can I apply for citizenship now? I just received my green card but lived in US for more than 5 years

I lived in US on a Visa for about 6 years and now my case through employer got
aproved. Can I apply for citizinship now or do I have to wait another 5 years?

The time you stayed in the US before getting the GC doesn't count towards
citizenship. You can apply for citizenship 4 years and 9 months *after* you
got the GC.
