Hi All,
Can you please let me know how criminal verification will be done by USA immigration department ?
Suppose If person is permanent residant of India but travelled to toher countries.
While applying visa for USA ,will they check criminal background from all countries or only permanent residant country ?


PLease clarify my doubts.

How many countries have you been naughty in exactly?

They usually only check in your home country, but if you've lived for a year or more in another country, they'll check there also. However, they can check anywhere they want to if they feel there's a need.

Here's the thing... if you've been a bad boy in another country, you need to declare that on the visa application. If you try and hide it, and get caught, you will end up with a lifetime ban from the US. It is easier (and better) to declare it and ask forgiveness, than to try and cover it up.

If person arrested and discharged without conviction then what is the possiblity to get visa to enter USA ? case like indecent behavior.
Does he gets Visa or rejected ?

It would depend on the specifics of the individual case.

Is it "like" indecent behavior... or is it actually indecent behavior? Peeing on some guy's garden at night is a lot different from peeing on some guy's garden during the day with children watching. The severity will depend on the circumstances.


Since there's only two possible outcomes, there's a 50/50 chance of getting the visa. You'll never know which unless you apply.
