Hi My B1 visa was denied twice last year. I have to apply for an H4 visa now. Will
earlier B1 refusal create a problem with the current H4 application Thanks

It depends on the reason for the B-1 denial. If the reason was solely that of
immigrant intent, and if you are the dependent of an H-1B holder, then your H-4 visa
application will not be affected by the previous denial.

Hi Thanks for your response - they did not give me any specific reason. I had all the
papers from my employer with me - they did not even ask for that. I am told that
after B1 has been rejected twice - I can apply for it again by mail. Do for H4 also
do I have to follow the same procedure or can I apply in person Thanks
