I was granted a B-2 visa after my H-1B expired and now applied for an extension of
B-2 status. INS wants additional documentation and the application process is
still running.

Now my wedding date is approaching and I am wondering if I have to somehow cancel my
B-2 application when applying for the GC or if I just request an adjustment of status
from B-2 to Permanent Resident?
