Automated Searching of Service Center
I was looking at the information provided on the K1 Advocacy Group BB on Yahoo. I downloaded the source code and scripts to try them out. I want to modify them to search MSC for K-3 approvals.
I noticed that this is an Applet not a standalone program. The batch file accompanying this just runs 'java SerachCSC'. But the applet has no main. I tried running it with AppletViewer, no joy. Is there something very obvious I'm missing here?
Any help is appreciated.
Michael

Michael,
What is the URL ?
It might be some security issue, like the applet's sand-box.
How do you know that there is no main() in the applet? Did you decompile the
source code? Try to find some *.jar files. It should be there, as far as I
know.

I downloaded the class files and the source code for the applet. I looked at the source code and modified it to do searches against MSC. There is no main() in the code, and it subclasses off of JApplet, which I believe requires a browser, although I haven't used JApplet before. The script they provide to run this just runs the standard JVM, which doesn't work, because there is no main.
