hello everybody

iam an lawyer from india and i am immigrating to usa so i need to know what documents i need for my admission there ?
copies all that stuff iam very naive about this so plz help me out

Ummm...if you are already immigrating, wouldn't you know what you have filed?

Atleast the valid passport, immigration visa from US consulate and any other
supporting document that the consulate gives
will be the minimal paperwork one would be expected to show at the port of
entry. You might look at and post questions

u got me wrong iam asking what documents i will need for my college admission . and how many copies and how are the copies to be made in true copies signed by an indian notary or what ? all that stuff not immigration or embassy or ins stuff

You used the words "immigrating to usa." Immigrating to the U.S. means
obtaining permanent resident status, or the so-called "green card."

This is fundamentally incompatible with getting an F-1 student visa to
pursue a degree program in the U.S. F-1 is a "nonimmigrant" (temporary)
status which requires that you specifically not intend to stay in the U.S.,
and that you intend to return to your home country at the end of your
authorized temporary stay.

Admission to college in the U.S. is completely decentralized. Every college
has its own requirements. See

Or just follow the instructions given in the university's application packet!
