Hi Again
Questions, Questions ....Thankgoodness for this Newsgroup !
OK....What does it mean when your application (129F) has been approved ?
Does it mean it's on it's way to (in My Case London, UK) the Consulate ?
If it does then how long is it before I get my paperwork ?

Actually from the service center it goes to the National Visa Center and they will dispatch it to the US Consulate overseas. In this case, the UK. You can call the US Consulate there and ask for them to send you package #3 so that you can start compiling the information needed. I believe the forms are also available online at the US Consulate's website.

I think the member will find that the London Embassy will not despatch packet 3 until they are in receipt of the petition from the NVC. From what I have been given to understand they no longer open provisional files or despatch packet 3 in advance of receiving the approved petition.
