appliying for Green Card Bankrupt in UK
I am currently in the US applying for my 'Green Card' - my wife is a US citizen but I'm being made bankrupt in the UK.
Will this affect my application, are UK financial records shared with the US Immigration service?
I prevoiusly lived in the US and gave up my green card about 7 years ago (of my own free will) due to working out of the US. My credit rating (ironically) here in the US is very good.

Thanks Ian.
do you know much about wether my credit rating in the US will be effected, do credit reporting companies have access to UK credit reports.
I have a very good rating in the US so I'don't want that to drop.

Practically no, I know how impossible people have found it to use their good UK credit history.

My credit in the UK is shot to bits, but I have a 787 points score here in the US as I lived here a while back.
I don't want it to have a negative impact on my US rating once my bankruptcy is finalized

Even if you had a great rating in the UK and a crappy one in the US, your UK rating would not affect your US rating at all... works the same the other way around also.
