Hi,
does anyone know where I have to go to get an apostile for my marriage document? At the town clerk where I got the marriage license done?
I am in NJ, but I got married in NY-so di I need to get it there?
I would appreciate your help

What is an "apostile"??

I got this off the Westchester County NY website.
But I'm sure it applies to you as you were married in NY State.
It refers to the Clerk in the County you married.
"If you need an apostile after the Clerk's authentication (State certification) you may contact the Department of State for information. The Department of State in New York City is located at 123 William Street on the 19th Floor. They can be reached at (212)417-5747."
