AP and EAD approved!!!! =) =) =) =)
I am so happy!!!!
Finally, after waiting 8 months, today I got the mail from the website of BCIS!!!! my EAD and AP were approved Aug 19!!!
Here is my timeline:
Dec 1: ATL office receives AOS/AP/EAD
Jan 6: NOA for AOS/AP/EAD from MSC-NBC
Feb 12: Fingerprints and biometrics done
Jul 16: got interim EAD
Aug 10: my husband contacts congress person to help us
Aug 19: we get online approval for EAD/AP
Nos I am just hoping everything goes well, and I get both AP and EAD by mail soon!

Congrats! It seems like a whole group is coming down the pike all at once.
My wife and I feel very blessed that ours were processed quickly (less than 3 months from initial filing). I feel really bad for those of you who are waiting much, much longer. If everything is being processed at NBC, why on earth are the times so different?!?

Thanks to all!! we are really happy with the news...
Rukhie, I believe it helped... just morning aug 19 the congress person sent a mail to my husband telling him they issued a formal request to the BCIS to review my case... and suddenly we got approved! the date of the approval is aug 19... I think it is not a coincidence...

Finally!Rukhie, I agree with Monica that contacting a congressperson helps indeed. The day after we contacted our congressman about our AP, it was approved.

Wow, you're situation and timeline are almost identical to mine. I
contacted my Senator's office and submitted requests to the CIS
Ombudsman to look into my case on 8/10. Still haven't heard anything,
though.
