Hello all,

How long (how many hours) it takes to apply for AOS (K1 Visa) in person at local INS
office ? Not counting the line waiting time. I am going to use Tampa, Florida office. If I
start from 8:00 AM, can it be done by 11:00 AM.

Does Form I-485 need to be signed before INS officer, or we can sign it ahead of time ?

If you're just talking about applying.. then it shouldn't take but five minutes.. When we
dropped ours off at Louisville, KY all they did was went through to be sure we had all the
forms and that was it. Oh and of course took our money. They don't do much more than that.
