Hi Folks

I'm confused, do the USCIS really want to know that I was in the Boy Scouts?

I'm filling in a I-485 form and in section C they ask for all my current and past memberships and affiliations etc etc! Am I reading this right? Do they want me to list out my gym memberships, and the 5-a-side football team I was in 9 years ago?

I'm guessing If I had lead a more interesting life I might of been a member of the Red Lefty Communist Party of Hampshire, and that I should tell them about it, but thing is I didn't and I wasn't

Does anyone know what they are after in this section?

I left mine empty, too. It was never questioned at the interview. I thought the question stank of McCarthyism.

Reasons to revoke your status. Unless you belonged to "the neo nazi boys club" or "Stalins heroes" I wouldn't worry about it...

I listed my professional memberships (dues paying member), but none of the other small stuff.

Ian - That reminds me, I do have a few work related memberships that I could put there, I just had forgotton all about them.
